Job description
The eCommerce Project Manager role will lead BayBridgeDigital eCommerce site transformation and enhancements. S/he will leverage sales and web metrics to make strategic recommendations with a targeted focus on maximizing platform adoption to drive improvement in conversion rate. In addition to serving as the subject matter expert on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware platform, s/he will focus on activation of product, content and promotion on the sites.
Job Responsibilities
- Merchandising and Website Enhancements
- Oversee e-commerce daily operations, performance, analysis and provide insights
- Manage site merchandising, troubleshoot on-site bugs and identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead A/B testing strategy and QA to improve all web programs
- Manage web calendar for product launches, site updates, marketing communications, promotions, etc.
- Manage all online product content for web data loads, accurate inventory and product information
- Lead coordination between creative and technical teams, suggesting and implementing appropriate strategies for all website operations
- Review customer journey through the site, recommending adjustments including site search, navigation, and other features
- Aggregate all available data and analytics to accurately identify areas of opportunity for growth
Content Strategy
Support the conceptualization, prioritization and calendarization of digital content/editorial
Measure and monitor content effectiveness and communicate how content strategy is contributing to business goals
Support Executive Director to achieve sales and margin plans
Lead strategy for content linking, product boosting and navigational changes
Reporting & Analysis
Tracks and analyses sales and inventory performance; executes on findings to improve results
Build and refines taxonomy strategy
Analyze the purchase and conversion funnel to better optimize the customer journey
Analyze site logistic reports and partner with merchandising operation teams to optimize business and resolve issues
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree
- 3+ years of experience in ecommerce and digital merchandising – specifically site search, sorting rules, promotions and A/B testing
- Experience with site analytics tools (Google Analytics preferred) and with CMS tools
- Experience with JIRA
- Technical aptitude with web-based tools and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Collaborative problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with proven multi-tasking ability
- Must demonstrate business acumen and analytical skills
- Have an understanding and passion for digital retail landscape
- Ability to multitask and achieve deadlines in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner
- Knowledge of digital commerce components such as users, catalogue, pricing, inventory, and payment.
- Knowledge of digital commerce integration such as CMS, DAM, PIM, OMS, and ERP
